Biography

Dr. Kokkali Stamatia was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1974. She graduated from School of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1998 and pursued her residency training in General Practice in Halkidiki General Hospital. She completed her PhD in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Master’s diploma in Health management in University of Macedonia, Greece.

Since 2008 she is a consultant in greek NHS and a Research fellow at the Department of Hygiene and Epidemiology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since 2018 she is Fellow’s educator in general practice. She participates in the teaching program of the Department of Hygiene, teaching biostatistics to undergraduate and postgraduate students and in relevant seminars. 

Dr. Kokkali is an active clinician, with a parallel interest in academic work. She has published 12 papers in international journals with more than 450 references. She was an invited speaker in more than 30 Greek congresses and seminars. She is a member of a research network in General Practice.
